BABA HAIDAKHAN- "I am no one’s Guru, but I am the Guru of gurus"
OM NAMAH SHIVAY
Shri Haidakhan Babaji, he is also called
"Babaji" or Bhole Baba (Shri means blessed, divine, holy, revered or
respected; Baba is a term used for a saint or father) by his disciple and
devotees, was a teacher who appeared near the village of Haidakhan in Nainital
district in northern India
(Uttarakhand)
and taught publicly from 1970 to 1984.
Life
As described in "The Teachings of
Babaji," Haidakhan Babaji "appeared" as young man in June 1970
in a cave at the foot of the Kumaun Mount Kailash, across the river Gautama
Ganga, near a remote village called Haidakhan, in the Nainital, one of the
beautiful District of Uttarakhand, India. This young man was known
as the reincarnation of Haidakhan Babaji. Many of his followers claimed
that Haidakhan Babaji was a Mahavatar Baba (Immortal Baba Ji)– i.e. "a human
manifestation of God, not born from woman."
(*In the manifestation of higher soul
like Haidakhan Baba Ji, in the initial stage, such supreme soul occupies the
human body partially and then goes for deep sadhana for purifying to increase the capacity of
occupied body so that ordinary body can be able to deal the load/power of such
higher soul. As we know that Haidakhan Baba Ji also went for 45 days sadhana
for same purpose.)
It is said that in late September 1970
Haidakhan Babaji spent forty-five days and nights meditating in a small temple
on the top of the Kumaon Mount Kailash without leaving his seat and mediating with various
yogic activities most of the time, talking very rarely to the people, and
started delivering the messages he has brought to this world.
